Outdoor Water Conservation - outdoor efficiency surveys, opportunities for outdoor rebates, and the benefits of outdoor water conservation. Nearly half of the water consumed during the summer in El Paso is utilized outside.

Presentation will be lead by:

Alex Fashing, an El Paso native, is a Water Conservation Specialist at El Paso Water and holds a B.S. in Sustainability and a Master of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University. In five years with the Conservation Department, Alex has launched nine rebate programs, created multiple grant opportunities for EP Water customers, developed data-driven tools to track efficiency, and served as chief author of the new Drought Contingency Plan. A self-proclaimed water nerd, Alex never misses a chance to share the joys of water in the desert.
