Event Details

The hayride starts near the party facility and takes you out to the old pioneer homestead. See an old settler's home complete with an outhouse, straw mattresses and animal pens. The hayride passes Miller's Ambush, where a band of Apache Indians fought with the Miller family on their way west by covered wagon in the 1850's. The last stop is the movie set from Courage Under Fire, which was filmed at Cattleman's in 1995. You will see the original helicopter, tanks and many other movie props. The film starred Meg Ryan and Denzel Washington.
