Certified Leasing Professional (CALP) November 17-20

The Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) training is a 4-day course specifically designed to enhance the skills of leasing professionals, resulting in increased lease activity and improved customer service.

CALP Requirements:

1. Minimum 6 months of onsight property management experience in a leasing role (this can be obtained while taking the course; you will receive a provisional certificate until this requirement is met).
2. Complete all seven CALP courses.
3. Pass the examination within six months of declaring candidacy.

Course Overview and Fees

The CALP Course curriculum is comprised of seven modules:

Module 1: Bringing in New Residents

Module 2: Marketing and Maintaining Your Community

Module 3: Why Your Competition Matters

Module 4: Relevant Laws and How to Apply Them

Module 5: The Sales Process and Building Relationships

Module 6: Effectively Meeting the Needs of Current Residents

Module 7: Market Analysis and Review

Program Cost

Total Program Cost: EPAA-Member $500/ Non-Member $600 (Course eBook and initial exam fee are included in the program cost)
