The El Paso Apartment Association
A sneak peak at EPAA's 2017 Classes & Meetings
Presidents Message- May 2017
Dear EPAA Member,
The El Paso Apartment Association would like to invite our vendors, management companies, and owners to our first General Membership Board meeting specifically to meet and greet our Board of Directors and get a brief presentation on all our Committees. Please join us on May 17th at 8:30 AM for our General Board Meeting held at the El Paso Apartment Association (EPAA) offices. This is your chance to learn more about our association and become involved. EPAA, like other trade organizations depend on the voluntary participation of our members for support and involvement while still facing the challenge of advocating for everyone irrespective of their participation. Like public television, all who watch benefit from the programing, but not everyone contributes. So I urge you to get involved!
By getting involved you’ll deepen existing business relationships and make new contacts on a regular basis. Such networking goes beyond the exchange of business cards – as you attend periodic meetings, become active on a committee or take a prominent leadership role, you’ll forge lasting ties with others who have common professional interests and similar business concerns. These relationships will be a rich, ongoing source of inspiration and ideas.
As you know EPAA offers their members the chance to update their knowledge of business and trade basics or acquire new skills through seminars, workshops, break-out sessions at conferences and online courses. Typical subject matter can run the gamut from tax tips and small business financing to advice about leasing and even hiring and staff management.
For these reasons, I again urge you attend. This is your career and your livelihood. Don’t let another year go by where you miss out on what we have to offer you, your team, your company and your community. So, I look forward to meeting you at our upcoming General Membership Meeting on May 17th. The EPAA Board is eager for your involvement and your feedback. Visit our website and Facebook page for our calendar of events.
