Thank you for your interest in the El Paso Apartment Association. We are pleased to give you this opportunity to learn about the Association and its benefits to you and your company, and we cordially invite you to become an Associate Member of the El Paso Apartment Association. Incorporated since July 1974, EPAA represents some 34,000 apartment and rental units in our city owned or managed by some 220 Owner Members. Associates play an important part in our Association's Activities, since they furnish the supplies and services used by the apartment communities. Associate Members support the Associates. There are over twenty-vive million dollars spent annually by member communities for supplies and services. The majority of these expenditures go to active, energetic Associates who provide responsive service at reasonable prices. We publish a monthly Newsletter, which has in the centerfold a Buyer's Guide that lists all the Associate Members in up to three categories of product or service. Also, when you first join, we provide you with a free business card size add for two months (a $48.00 value ) in the Newsletter for you to describe the products or services you provide. We also carry advertisements in the Newsletter for a very nominal fee. Newsletter circulation reaches approximately 675 locations and is published monthly. Annual dues for your organization are set at $250 per year and run for 12 months from the time you join. Initial registration has a $50.00 processing fee. Membership locally also grants you automatic membership in both the Texas and National Apartment Associations and you will receive their publications. We would welcome you as a member in the Association. To join, simply fill out the Associate Application. There is also an Advertising Agreement, should you wish to take advantage of advertising in the Newsletter.

1) UNIQUE BUYERS - Owners buy large quantities and you will have the opportunity to socialize informally with the buyers in your target market group.
2) ADVERTISING - Three free listings in the monthly Newsletter and a free listing in the annual El Paso Apartment Directory are provided to all Associate members. You also have the exclusive opportunity for purchasing display ads in the monthly newsletter and the annual apartment directory at a nominal fee.
3) MEMBERSHIP - Your annual dues include a membership in the Texas Apartment Association as well as the National Apartment Association.
4) FREE PUBLICATIONS - Monthly newsletters from the El Paso Apartment Association. Bi-Monthly and quarterly magazines are also mailed from the National Apartment Association (UNITS) and the Texas Apartment Association (TEXAS APARTMENTS).

6) EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS - The Association offers numerous opportunities for further education in the industry. There are subjects of interest to you or you may be asked to share your expertise.

8) MEETINGS - Attend meetings and serve on committees alongside owners and managers. You can also serve on the Products and Services Council, which advises the Board of Directors on vendor affairs. Quarterly state and tri-annual national meetings are available for you to attend.
